St. Malachy’s principal interest is your child’s academic success. During our eleven-month school year we challenge our students to set high standards with achievable goals in all academic areas. The faculty strives to meet all the individual needs of our students through differentiated instruction. We provide educational programs that enhance students’ ability to problem solve, think critically, think morally, and to make informed-intelligent decisions. Moreover, to strive to cultivate a life long love of learning.
We understand and acknowledge parents as the primary educators of their child’s education. Our faculty endeavors to open the lines of communication, collaboration and become the support system to our parents and children.
Title I
In addition to the core subjects, we also offer Title 1 services for students who qualify. The students who qualify are given small group instruction in reading, language arts, and math three days a week for 30-45 minutes.
Tutoring
Tutoring is offered to children who need extra help by the individual teachers on a needed basis.
